“It is such a delight to walk through the "poppy path" now that its been transformed from what was initially a scary dreary dark underpass that leads to the Armed Forces garden in Hillfield park. I am so glad I got to witness a few weeks of a project whose concept has been one year in the making; and to see this beautiful underpass transformation that honours the Armed Forces, gives us all a sense of belonging by involving the community in the art creation and adds to the beauty and essence of the Hillfield park. A huge shoutout to the crew of artists from A&K and all collaborators for making this happen and even convincing me to participate (yes! I managed to paint a poppy successfully even though i held the spray bottle upside down the whole time 😆) I look forward to my walks through the poppy path daily and to all the beautiful art that awaits ✨ PS.
